Theft-  On September 7, 2018, Dep. Forinash responded to the 40000 block of Merchant’s Lane in Leonardtown, for the reported theft. Investigation determined Amanda Elizabeth Kemp, age 27 of Avenue, concealed items, and proceeded to leave the establishment without paying for the merchandise.  Kemp was charged with Theft via a Criminal Citation.  CASE# 47523-18

Assault-  On September 8, 2018, Dep. Forbes responded to the 45000 block of Carefree Way in Great Mills, for the reported assault.  Investigation determined  Robert Combs Russell 3rd, age 23 of Lexington Park,  began to argue with the victim.  During the argument, Russell chased the victim with a knife, threw the knife at the victim, and chased the victim to a separate residence when the victim ran for help.  Russell then forced his way into that residence while chasing the victim, and proceeded to assault two occupants of the residence who attempted to stop him from harming the victim.  Russell was arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, and  Assault 1st and 2nd Degree.  CASE# 47575-18

Theft-  On September 10, 2018, Dep. Raley responded to the 45000 block of First Colony Way in California, for a reported theft.  Investigation determined Michelle Lynn Lawless, age 38 of Hughesville, concealed items in a backpack, and attempted to leave the store without purchasing the items.  Lawless was charged via a Criminal Citation for Theft.  CASE# 48031-18 (No Photograph Available)


Violation of Protective Order-  On September 10, 2018, Cpl. Maloy responded to the 40000 block of Heaven’s Way in Leonardtown, for the reported violation of a protective order.  Investigation determined Paul Bennett McGinnis, age 26 of Avenue, contacted the victim which is a violation of an active order.  McGinnis was arrested and charged with Violate Protective Order.  CASE# 48063-18

Theft-  On September 10, 2018, Cpl. Stone responded to the 45000 block of Miramar Way in California, for the reported theft.  Investigation determined Timothy Thomas Welch, age 38 of Lexington Park, attempted to conceal food items, and then attempted to leave without purchasing the items.  Welch was charged with Theft via a Criminal Citation.  CASE# 48078-18 (No Photograph Available)


Assault-  On September 10, 2018, Dep. Westphal responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center for the reported assault.  Investigation determined Ja ‘Sean I’ Jae Reed, age 20 of Great Mills, assaulted the victim by pushing the victim in the back.  Reed was charged with assault.  CASE# 48104-18

Assault-  On September 11, 2018, Dep. Raley responded to the 21000 block of Liberty Street in Lexington Park for the reported assault.  Investigation determined David Dawayne Gatlin Jr., age 22 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by striking the victim in the head causing injury.  Gatlin was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree.  CASE# 48187-18

Violation of Protective Order-  On September 12, 2018, Dep. Forinash responded to the 21000 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park, for the reported Violation of Exparte.  Investigation determined Antonio George Queen, age 24 of Lexington Park, contacted the victim in violation of a current court order.  Queen was arrested and charged with Violate Exparte/Protective Order.  CASE# 40501-81
