Cause of abandoned vehicle fire under investigation

Dunkirk, MD- On September 14, 2018, a passerby in the area of Route 4 and Ward Road in Dunkirk, MD noticed an abandoned 2014 Honda Accord on fire. The Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department responded with five firefighters and had the blaze under control in approximately five minutes. The State Fire Marshal was subsequently called and the incident is now under investigation.
