Glen Burnie man finds $100,000 top prize on All the Money game
Jonathan Medrano eagerly made his way into the Maryland Lottery Winner’s Circle Tuesday with his family by his side and his father recording the celebration surrounding his $100,000 top-prize win on the All the Money scratch-off. The lucky Glen Burnie man brought along his sister, Jennifer and father Gregorio on the exciting family excursion.
Jonathan, who works as a carpenter with his father, started playing scratch-offs this year. On Tuesday morning, the 20-year-old stopped in at Honey Bee Liquors in Glen Burnie to test his Lottery luck. He selected the All the Money instant ticket because “it looked pretty cool.” Looks were not deceiving in this case, as Jonathan came away with the first top prize in the $10 game!
The scratch-off player was shaking when he showed his sister his winning ticket, and Jennifer could not believe it either! The siblings told Gregorio and the trio hopped in the car and headed to Lottery headquarters to claim the big win.
Jonathan has very practical plans for his big windfall — he wants to put it toward buying a house for his family!
The Medrano family aren’t the only ones who come away smiling! For selling the top-prize winning scratch-off in the game, Honey Bee Liquors at 7509 Ritchie Highway earns a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery. The bonus is equal to 1 percent of the prize. Congratulations, winners!
