On October 29, 2018 Dfc. Rediker was patrolling the Prince Frederick Shopping Center when he noticed Frederick Emmett Donahue (58), walking in and out of businesses and through the parking lot. Donahue has an active no trespassing warning for that property and all stores in that shopping center. Donahue was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Trespassing on Private Property.

On November 1, 2018 Deputy Freeland assisted Trooper Matthews with a traffic stop at the Wawa in Dunkirk. The driver, Robert Edward Masincupp (36), was detained because the car he was driving had been reported as stolen. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana, half of a white pill, a glass pipe, a grinder, suspected marijuana “dabs” and one Vyvanse pill.  A search of his person revealed 3 Suboxone strips, Buprenorphine and Naloxone. Masincupp was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center and charged with CDS: Possession of Mariuana > 10 grams and CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana.

On November 1, 2018 Dfc. Holt responded to McDonalds in Solomons for the report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. The driver provided a driver’s license with the name Anthony Johnson, which came back with an active warrant. After being placed under arrest, the driver identified himself as Anquon Dante Johnson (40), and admitted to giving an ID that was not his. After running Johnson’s real name through the Calvert County Control Center it was found that he too had an active warrant through Virginia. Johnson was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Fraud-Per Identification to Avoid Prosecution.

On November 1, 2018 Deputy Ridgely responded to the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office for the report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The complainant advised her son’s father, Eric Eugene Butler (37), took her keys and took her vehicle without permission. Cpl. Morgan conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle on Cardinal Drive in Lusby.  Deputy Holt located Butler walking on Cardinal Drive. Butler was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle, Desertion of a Minor Child and served two active warrants.

On November 2, 2018 Deputy Parks responded to Shore Acres Way, Prince Frederick for the report of a fight in the parking lot. The suspect, Tracy Oneda Garner (50), was agitated and was told several times to lower her voice and calm down. Garner refused to tell Deputy Parks her name or give him her ID. Garner was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where she was charged with Disorderly Conduct and served an active warrant.

On November 2, 2018 Dfc. Mohler conducted a traffic stop on Solomons Island Road in the area of Ball Road, St. Leonard. A search of the vehicle revealed three Xanax pills in the front passenger’s seat. The driver, Robert Franklin Merrell Jr. (62), was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana.

On November 3, 2018 Dfc. Gott conducted a traffic stop in the Wendy’s parking lot in Prince Frederick. The occupants were asked to exit the vehicle and a K9 scan was conducted which resulted in a positive alert. A search of the vehicle revealed three hypodermic syringes and a metal spoon containing suspected heroin residue. The driver, Gary Wayne Leslie (42), was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Administer Equipment-Possess/Distribute.

On November 4, 2018 Dfc. Childress responded to Sun Park Lane, Huntingtown to check the welfare of a female lying in the roadway. Brandi Lynn Kelley (35) was agitated and denied being in the roadway. Kelley continued to use profane language, disturbing other individuals in the area, therefore, she was placed under arrest and placed in the patrol vehicle. Kelley was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center and charged with Disorderly Conduct.
