Children can whisper wishes and capture photo memories with Santa beginning Friday, November 16 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Monday, December 24 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Dining Pavilion. “One of the great traditions of holiday shopping at Arundel Mills is the annual family visit to the Simon Santa Photo Experience,” said Dave Ricklin, Director of Marketing at Arundel Mills. “I know Santa can’t wait to greet children, bringing him their holiday wishes.”
Arundel Mills also provides children with all spectrums of special needs and their families with an opportunity to enjoy this time-honored holiday tradition through a sensory-friendly Caring Santa event in association with Autism Speaks. Caring Santa will occur on Sunday, December 2 from 8:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to mall opening. Guests can register in advance at simon.com/caringsanta. Arundel Mills Santa Experience will also share the heart of Santa by collecting donations for Autism Speaks throughout the holiday season. Caring Santa events have expanded from seven Simon malls in 2011 to 111 Simon malls today, reflecting the positive impact of this unique program.
For local pet owners, the popular Pet Photo Nights with Santa return to the Simon Santa Photo Experience at Arundel Mills this year. Many pet owners view their pet as an integral member of the family and are just as committed in caring for their pets as their “human” family members. Pet Photo Nights are hosted after regular mall closing and the set gets an extensive cleaning following the event to remove any potential risk to allergy sufferers. Pet Photo Nights at Arundel Mills with Santa will occur on Sunday, November 25 and Sunday, December 2 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Make your children’s dreams come true of a little extra face time with Santa Claus, thanks to the Arundel Mills tradition of Breakfast with Santa, which offers the opportunity for all in attendance to have a special, one-on-one greeting from Santa himself. Head over to the Dining Pavilion on Saturday, December 1st, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and enjoy a free kid’s meal provided by Chick-fil-A. While the event is free, registration is required. Finally, Arundel Mills is proud to host a Military Breakfast with Santa, designed exclusively military families at Fort Meade. Arundel Mills consistently features programs that show appreciation to local active military members and veterans. For example, earlier this year, parking spaces designated for veterans were added, surrounding the entire center.
