Leonardtown, MD – With extreme cold temperatures forecasted for the next few days, several places will be available for residents to go and stay warm.

St. Mary’s County Government has established warming centers during regular hours at the following locations for residents, who need to take refuge in a warm place:

Garvey Senior Activity Center

8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.*


Loffler Senior Activity Center

Northern Senior Activity Center
