Seahawks Start CAC Championships With a Second Place Finish

ST. MARY’S CITY, Md. – The St. Mary’s College of Maryland Women’s swimming (4-5) team began the first day of the CAC Championships and finished the day sitting in third place.

1. University of Mary Washington – 74
2. York College of Pennsylvania – 72
3. St. Mary’s College of Maryland – 64
4. Salisbury University – 58
5. Frostburg State University – 32

How it Happened

• Carolyn Sutton, Hailley Baughman, Becca Sonnenberg and Brenna Litynski took second in the 200-yard medley relay by swimming a time of 1:49.31.
• Lexi Efron, Elizabeth Johnson, Bailey Edgren and Samantha Schoenecker swam an 8:30.19 in the 800-yard freestyle relay which placed them fourth.
