Last year, my mom’s friend, who is a doctor, was in Africa as a missionary. We saw pictures of the people walking barefoot to the clinic to see a doctor. By the time they got to the clinic they were already sick and now they had infected feet. I decided to fix that problem.
My soccer team, friends and family from Ohio, where we used to live and a lot of my friends at school donated shoes for the clinic. I collected over 300 pairs of shoes. Now, anyone who comes to the clinic gets a free pair of shoes.

I play on an ECNL Soccer Team; there are only two girl teams in Maryland in that league. We travel all over New England area and Virginia. In the off season, we play futsal. The Regional Cup is in Atlantic City, NJ in a huge convention center. I was selected to go to the US National Team training center for soccer.
I’m a member of the National Junior Honor Society. We are going to paint inspirational quotes inside the restrooms at school. It’s a fun way to uplift students.
