FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – St. Mary’s College of Maryland senior goalkeeper Ross Snodderly was named the Capital Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Mar. 4, the league announced today.
Snodderly led the Seahawks to a 2-0 record with victories over Eastern (13-6) and Catholic (8-4). Snodderly allowed an average of five goals on the week and accumulated a stellar 73.7 save percentage. In addition, Snodderly gathered 28 saves in between the pipes. Snodderly currently leads the conference with a 64.7 save percentage on the season. The 5-11 goalkeeper is also second in the CAC with a 7.68 goals against average on the year.
The Seahawks (3-2) will be back in action on Wednesday (Mar. 6) when they travel to Randolph-Macon (3-1) for a 4 p.m. game.
