HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The ST. Mary’s College of Maryland men’s tennis team began its spring break trip as they took on the Purple Raiders of the University of Mount Union.

St. Mary’s – 3, Mount Union – 6

Singles –

  • Ethan Garren won his first match of spring break as he took down the Purple Raiders Zach Teffner with a score of 6-2, 6-3.
  • Sam Sheats also took a match from the Purple Raiders by defeating Justin Kelley by a score of 7-5, 6-2.
  • Jack Brandenburg joined in on the winning action by beating Mount Union’s Jacob Barton 6-3, 6-4.
