The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners recognized Human Resources Deputy Director Melanie Woodson as February Employee of the Month for her superior job performance and unfailing work ethic.
Melanie has worked tirelessly with the benefits team since July 2017 to make positive changes, including improved benefits orientations and the addition a new health insurance plan. She also processes hundreds of staffing requisitions, job announcements, reference checks, recommendations, personnel actions, hire letters and orientations.
Melanie reviews documentation at every step of the process to ensure the county’s hiring practices are equitable and supportable. Congratulations on your award Melanie.
