PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – April 2, 2019 – The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will hold a public hearing Tuesday, April 9, 2019, to consider and receive comments on a petition requested by the Property Owners Association of Chesapeake Ranch Estates to establish a new special tax district beginning Fiscal Year 2020. The hearing will begin at 7 p.m. at the Southern Community Center, located at 20 Appeal Lane in Lusby.

The proposed special tax district will primarily fund the cost of road sustainment, equipment replacement, safety projects, dams and storm water annual maintenance through June 30, 2023.
