Indian Head, MD- At 12:47 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, sixty-one members from Indian Head and surrounding departments along with mutual aid from NDW Indian Head & PGFD on scene of a “working fire” in a dwelling with “severe hoarding conditions” on Helen Court.

The fire was put out in minutes, members in rehab and checking for extension throughout. No injuries as this time. MD State fire Marshal’s Office on scene for investigation into the cause.

The family of 3 and their dog will be displaced under the care of Red Cross. Units are assisting F/M and continuing overhaul. BC20 (Gilroy) “Incident Command”, Chief 8 (Hudson) had “operations”
