April 13 at the North Beach boardwalk from 8-10 – NHS FBLA is hosting a Run for Hope 5Kto support our community service project “Hope for Hundreds” on . This event is continuing to support cancer organizations in Maryland. 50% of proceeds will go to support our national competitors for this year. APRIL 13 – COUNTRY DANCE.For a fun time, come to the American Legion Country Dance in the Upper Level Ballroom at the American Legion Stallings-Williams Post 206 at 3330 Chesapeake Beach Road East on Route 260 in Chesapeake Beach. If you can’t dance, teachers will be available to give instruction. One hour lessons commence at 7:00 p.m. followed by dancing from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.. APRIL 14– ALL-U-CAN-EAT BREAKFAST.Start this Palm Sunday with a yummy breakfast featuring Hot Cakes, Sausage, Scrapple, Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Home Fries, Biscuits, Fruit, and Chip Beef. APRIL 18 – GOOD FRIDAY SUPPER & COMMUNION– The Supper and Communion Service will commence at 6:00 p.m. at the Interdenominational Union Church, Rear Hall, The Church is located next to the North Beach Town Hall at 8912 Chesapeake Avenue. April 27 – End Hunger Bike Ride– We are expecting 700 cyclists through the Town of Chesapeake Beach. The busiest times are anticipated to be between 7:30am to 10:00am.Please use caution and be careful when driving that day.
