April 27 – End Hunger Bike Ride– We are expecting 700 cyclists through the Town of Chesapeake Beach. The busiest times are anticipated to be between 7:30am to 10:00am.Please use caution and be careful when driving that day.

June 15 from 5 pm – 7 pm Bayfront Park Nature Walk & Talk Series: Coastal Geology of Calvert Cliffs and Bayfront Park Beach.Join Chesapeake Beach’s own Dr. Ken Rasmussen, Professor of Geology and Oceanography at Northern Virginia Community College, as he describes the ancient past recorded in our stretch of Calvert Cliffs, and the dynamic modern-day forces that continue to shape them today. Event suitable for ages 13+, minors must be accompanied by responsible adult. No pets please. The event is free but registration is required as group size will be limited to 15 people.
