Calvert County Public Schools via Facebook

From Principal Mark Wilding: Mr. Warren Harvey is the Carpentry and Home Improvement teacher at the CTA. He is such an amazing educator that students of all ability levels are able to achieve great things in his class. When Mr. Harvey’s carpentry students have completed their two years with him, they have successfully framed walls, built sheds, shingled rooves, hung drywall, and calculated the rise and run of stairs.

Students in his home improvement program learn how to lay brick and block, wire outlets and switches, and frame walls. Above everything else, Mr. Harvey’s students learn the importance of being respectful and responsible members of the community. Over the years, his students have completed many projects which have positively impacted Calvert County Public Schools.

They have provided pavilions, sheds, benches, water fountain stools, picnic tables, cornhole boards, and even baseball field dugouts for many schools across the county. Congratulations, Warren! You represent CTA well!
