News Release, Port Tobacco Players

Written by Ira Levin
Produced by Mike Gahan | Directed by Bill Graves

Sidney Bruhl, a successful writer of Broadway thrillers, is struggling to overcome a “dry” spell. A possible break occurs when he receives a script from a student in the seminar he has been conducting-a thriller which Sidney recognizes as a potential Broadway hit.

He devises a plan with his wife’s help to offer collaboration to the student. Thereafter suspense mounts steadily as the plot begins to twist and turn with devilish cleverness, and with such an abundance of thrills and laughter, that audiences will be held enthralled until the final, startling moments of the play.

One of the great popular successes of recent Broadway history, this ingeniously constructed play offers a rare and skillful blending of two priceless theatrical ingredients: gasp-inducing thrills and spontaneous laughter.

This production runs for 3 weekends May 17 – June 2, 2019
Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm | Sundays at 3pm. $18 – Adults | $15 -Seniors/Students/Military
