News Release, Charlotte Hall Veterans Home
For the past six years, Armed Forces week has been kicked off at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home with a very special ceremony. The Freemasons of Maryland gather under our roof to honor our Mason residents.
The Grand Master, Richard P. Naegele, presented each resident with a gift. This year a collaborative effort through all of Maryland has also provided our home with a generous donation to be used for new wheelchairs and rehab equipment. This year the group also donated monetary donation to the Crownsville Cemetery Program.
Charlotte Hall also received an 8 passenger golf cart donated by John English, member of the Freemason’s back in February to use at the home for residents.
Charlotte Hall Veterans Homes extremely grateful to have the support of our Masonic community members. Pictured in first picture L/R, Secretary George W. Owings, III, Arthur F.
