Nanjemoy,MD- On Monday, May 20, 2019 at 11:08 am, the Nanjemoy Volunteer Fire Department arrived on the scene of vacant structure fire on Carolyn Place. Twenty firefighters spent 20 minuted extinguishing the blaze.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal was called in to investigate. The loss of structure is listed as $5,000.00. The cause of the fire, which originated in the vacant structure, remains under investigation.  There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
