Leonardtown, MD – Do you have old and worn American or Maryland State flags? Give them the retirement they deserve. The St. Mary’s County Department of Aging & Human Services’ three Senior Activity Centers are collecting flags in preparation for the St. Mary’s County Flag Day ceremony to be held on Friday, June 14, at 6 p.m. at the St. Mary’s County Governmental Center in Leonardtown, MD.

Bring your flags to any Senior Activity Center by 4 p.m. on June 11:

During Flag Day, American Legion Post 221 will conduct an official flag disposal ceremony.
