Sony Pictures has released the first teaser trailer of the upcoming “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” starring Tom Hanks as Mister Rodgers.
The film follows the real-life relationship between Rodgers and the journalist Tom Junod(played by Matthew Rhys).
Award-winning cynical journalist Lloyd Vogel( based on Tom Junod), begrudgingly accepts an assignment to write an Esquire piece on the beloved TV icon Fred Rodgers. It is said the time spent with Rodgers transformed Junod’s perspective on life.
The movie is scheduled to be released, November 22, 2019 by TriStar Pictures
