D.C. United have mutually parted ways with midfielder Zoltán Stieber.

“We want to thank Zoltán for his service and commitment to the club over the last three seasons,” Dave Kasper, United General Manager and VP of Soccer Operations, said. “We wish him the best of luck in his next endeavor.”

Stieber joined the Black-and-Red from 1. FC Kaiserslautern in Germany on Aug. 9, 2017.

In three seasons, the midfielder scored six goals and recorded eight assists in 44 appearances. In 2019, Stieber made nine appearances (three starts) totaling 301 minutes in MLS Regular Season play.
