
OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The St. Mary’s College of Maryland volleyball team (4-9,0-0) continued their season against Stevenson University (11-0, 0-0) and Union College (7-4, 0-0) Saturday afternoon (Sept. 21) at Stevenson University.

How It Happened
- The Seahawks led the first set 7-6 when Stevenson pulled away to take a lead that they would not give up, eventually winning 25-15.
- Stevenson raced out in the second set and won comfortably 25-11.
- St. Mary’s College would have their most competitive set come in the third as they were only down two at 16-14. From there, the two teams traded points until Stevenson went on a late run to win 25-20.
Inside the Box Score
- Sophomore Erin Krauss led the Seahawks in kills with seven.
- Chanel Lucas finished the match with ten digs and Nicole Kreutzinger had seven of her own to put them in first and second on the team.

How It Happened
- The Seahawks bounced back after a tough morning loss to Stevenson to take the first set against Union College 25-18.
- Union came back in the second set to take a big lead early and would not look back as they won the second 25-14 and would bring the match to an even 1-1 in sets.
- Union College won convincingly in the third as they took it with an overall score of 25-14.
- St. Mary’s College and Union College would trade points in the fourth until it reached an even 15-15. The two continued to go point for point until it reached 25-25 and went to extras where Union won 29-27.
Inside the Box Score
- Erin Krauss led the Seahawks once again in kills with ten and Kyra Feinauer was right behind her with eight.
