On Tuesday, Nov. 5, the Charles County Board of Commissioners awarded the county’s $58 million bonds to Robert W. Baird & Co. Incorporated, the winning bidder for the bond sale. The bond will be used to pay for projects in the capital improvement program.

Work Session

Commissioners held a budget work session to conduct a preliminary review of the Board of Education’s Capital Budget. They approved a letter of support to the Interagency Committee on School Construction regarding the Board of Education’s request for state-funded school construction projects in fiscal 2021.

  • Commissioners proclaimed November 11, 2019, as Veterans Day and expressed appreciation to all those who served in the military for their sacrifices.
