Leonardtown, MD – The St. Mary’s County Regional Airport is celebrating its 50th Anniversary with a series of fun and educational events throughout 2020. The kickoff event of this year is an indoor display of radio-controlled (RC) model aircraft along with flight simulators, indoor small drone flight demos, and info on the UAS4STEM program.

This free event will take place in the main terminal of the airport from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, and is hosted by the Patuxent Aeromodelers RC Club.
