Professor of Music David Froom’s clarinet concerto, “Canzoni di Notte” has been announced as the first prize-winner of the Riverside Symphony’s National Composers Competition. As the winner, this work will receive its premiere performance in Alice Tully Hall (New York City), conducted by George Rothman and featuring clarinet soloist Narek Arutyunian.

The concert will be on Saturday, April 18, beginning at 8 p.m.
