At 856 AM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Greenwell State Park, moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

Locations impacted include… Lexington Park, Chesapeake Ranch Estates, Leonardtown, Cuckold Creek, Sheridan Point, Calvert Cliffs, Greenwell State Park, Saint Leonard Creek, Town Creek, Flag Harbor, White Point Beach, California, Lusby, Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Saint Leonard, Hollywood, Drum Point, Long Beach, Calvert Beach, and Port Republic.
