The Twin Beach Opioid Abuse Awareness Coalition held a successful HealthFair at the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department on March 1st, 2020.Over 100 attendees benefited from attendance at the Health Fair.Narcan training and supplies were provided to12 individuals through Calvert County Behavioral Health. Thank you to Chief Mills of the NBVFD for making the space available for the Health Fair.Thank you to Ashley Staples for taking the lead in organizing this event, Chesapeake Beach Councilman Keith Pardieck for his leadership of the Twin Beach Opioid Abuse Awareness Coalition,and the many volunteers, commitee members and community resourcesthat made this event happen as an educational outreachto the public.Click hereto view the Twin Beach Opioid Abuse Awareness Coalition page for more resources.
