UPDATE 3/24/2020- Due to the shutdown of Government, The Department of Aging and Human Services is asking residents to hold off on donating at this time. They are asking residents to stay at home as much as possible. If they decide to reach out again for donations, they will send out another Press Release with more information.
An email was forwarded to The Southern Maryland Chronicle with items the St. mary’s County Department of Aging and Human Services was in need of. Some of these items are hard to come by. In a subsequent email, they relayed to the individual that one couple was out of food.

Soups, apple sauce, low sugar instant oatmeal, bottled water
Hand sanitizer, Lysol/Clorox wipes, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, toilet paper, bleach
Soups applesauce, canned meats, canned veggies, Lysol/Clorox wipes, hand soap, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, paper towels

It’s a little bit of a maze there, she said they are next to the Chesapeake Bldg (larger newer brick bldg) in a smaller, much older 2 story bldg
