Give mom what she really wants this Mother’s Day: a trip out of the house to buy some wonderful fresh, local items you can use to make her favorite dishes! Historic Sotterley is proud to once again host a Farmer’s Market at
St. Mary’s County Regional Airport, but this time we are changing it from an indoor Fly-In Market to a stay-in-your-car Drive-Thru Market! (Make your purchase from the safety of your car!) You will have the opportunity to support some of our wonderful small businesses while also taking home some fabulous and fresh offerings from local farmers and producers. At the Farmer’s Market you will find items such as:
Oysters Beef
Cut Flowers Honey
Beer Kettle Korn
Eggs Hydroponic greens
Bourbon Chocolates
Baked Goods Farm Soaps
Pickles & Relishes Oils & Vinegars Bagged Coffee
We will also have food trucks from Chief’s & Blue Wind participating, so on your way home you can pick up some delectable take-out so no one has to cook!
We know that some of you will be hoping to find particular items from your favorite vendors. To ensure you come away with exactly what you want, you
will have the opportunity to contact vendors in advance to place a pre-order. Once we have the full listing, vendor information will be available on Sotterley’s website at www.sotterley.org.
It will be a great day to see all the new happenings at the airport (through your car window) while getting some great items for mom…or even just for yourself! For updates, check Historic Sotterley’s website or Facebook page.
