PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. –May 18, 2020–The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will hold a public hearing Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at 7 p.m. to consider and receive comments regarding the fiscal year (FY) 2021 commissioners’ recommended operating and capital improvement budget.

Citizens are encouraged to view the budget in its entiretyandlearn more about the FY 2021 budget process by visitingwww.CalvertCountyMd.gov/FY2021BudgetProcess.

The BOCC will also hold a public hearing to receive public comment regarding a proposed donation of land to the Calvert Affordable Housing Alliance, Inc., which will provide the land needed to develop a single-family home for a low- to moderate-income veteran. The hearings will begin at 7 p.m. at the Harriet E.
