Summer conference themed, ‘Reimagine Tomorrow,’ Hosted on Attendify June 29-30, 2020

Annapolis, Md. (June 3, 2020) – The Maryland Municipal League’s (MML) leadership is announcing its summer conference will become a virtual conference in 2020 to ensure the safety of attendees as COVID-19 remains a serious public health concern. The virtual conference will take place via Attendify from June 29to 30 in a historic move for the League to host the annual conference on a digital platform instead of in Ocean City, Md. The League plans to continue holding its future events in Ocean City in 2021 and beyond.

The conference’s theme, “Reimagine Tomorrow,” serves as a testament to MML’s commitment to restructuring the annual event to deliver professional training on timely and critical issues, as well as foster networking opportunities for Maryland’s municipal leaders. Attendees should register to earn credits by participating in sessions in the Academy for Excellence in Local Governance. The ‘virtually amazing’ 2020 MML Summer Conference features educational sessions, workshops, exposition of exhibitors, chat rooms, and Ocean City prizes for attendees.
