LEONARDTOWN, MDOn Wednesday, June 10, 2020, Governor Hogan announced thatMaryland would expandStage Two of the Maryland Strong Roadway to Recovery.

Beginning Friday, June 12, 2020, at 5 p.m. re-openings include other recreational establishments and food service establishmentsre-openingat 50% capacity and following established guidelines.

Beginning Friday,June 19, 2020,at5 p.m.re-openings include casinos, racetracksandsimulcast betting facilities; fitness centers; and indoor recreational establishments re-opening at 50% capacity and following established guidelines.

In response, St. Mary’s County Government is adopting similar measures with the updatedSt. Mary’s County COVID-19 Pandemic Roadmap to Recoveryexpanding re-openings in Stage 2, as well. Please note that St. Mary’s County is permitted to be more restrictive than the state of Maryland, but not less restrictive.

As recovery continues, please remember to maintain physical distancing, wear face coverings and follow all safe health precautions.
