LEONARDTOWN, MD – On Wednesday, June 10, 2020, Governor Hogan announced that Maryland would expand Stage Two of the Maryland Strong Roadway to Recovery.

Beginning Friday, June 12, 2020, at 5 p.m. re-openings include other recreational establishments and food service establishments re-opening at 50% capacity and following established guidelines.

Beginning Friday, June 19, 2020, at 5 p.m. re-openings include casinos, racetracks and simulcast betting facilities; fitness centers; and indoor recreational establishments re-opening at 50% capacity and following established guidelines.

In response, St. Mary’s County Government is adopting similar measures with the updated St. Mary’s County COVID-19 Pandemic Roadmap to Recovery expanding re-openings in Stage 2, as well. Please note that St. Mary’s County is permitted to be more restrictive than the state of Maryland, but not less restrictive.

As recovery continues, please remember to maintain physical distancing, wear face coverings and follow all safe health precautions.
