    Northeastern St. Marys County in southern Maryland…
    Southern Calvert County in southern Maryland…
  • Until 715 AM EDT.
  • At 644 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
    was located over Patuxent River Naval Air Station, or near Town
    Creek, moving northwest at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…For those in the direct path of a tornado touchdown,
flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Damage to roofs, siding, and windows may occur.
Mobile homes may be damaged or destroyed. Tree damage is
likely.

    Town Creek around 650 AM EDT.
    Cuckold Creek, California and Lusby around 655 AM EDT.
    Saint Leonard Creek, Greenwell State Park and Calvert Cliffs
    around 705 AM EDT.
    Sheridan Point, Flag Harbor and Saint Leonard around 715 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Port
Republic, Drum Point, Dowell, Long Beach, Hillville, Calvert Beach,
Sandgates, Dares Beach and Sotterley.

Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until noon EDT for Southern Maryland.
