LATHAM, N.Y. – For the second straight week, senior Jude Brown (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll) was selected as the United East Conference Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending March 13 as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Brown tallied six points on two goals and a season-best four assists as the St. Mary’s College of Maryland men’s lacrosse team dropped their first game of the season – a 20-9 loss to No. 7 Lynchburg College down in Virginia on March 12. The 5-9 attackman also added three ground balls and one caused turnover.

He has recorded five straight multiple-goal games this season.

Brown currently leads the United East with 6.20 points per game (9th in Division III) and 4.20 goals per game (14th in Division III) while ranking second with 2.60 assists per game (47th in Division III) and ninth with 1.60 caused turnovers per game.

St. Mary’s College (5-1) will be back in action this Wednesday, March 16, when the Seahawks host Randolph-Macon College (4-2) in a non-conference game under the lights at 7:00 p.m. in the Jamie L. Roberts Stadium
