St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office deputies apprehended Richard Allen Roloson, 65, of Lexington Park, during a canvass on Great Mills Road on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

Roloson, who was wanted on a separate complaint involving panhandling and trespassing, was discovered hiding in the area when deputies were investigating a trespassing complaint.

Upon verifying his identity, deputies found an open warrant for Roloson. A search led to the discovery of suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia on his person.

Roloson was subsequently arrested and taken to the Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown, facing charges of CDS Possession: Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia.
