WASHINGTON — Summer is fast approaching, and with it comes the highly anticipated Fox 5 Zip Trip season. This year marks a special milestone as the Zip Trip series celebrates its 10th anniversary. The Fox 5 team, including popular personalities Steve, Tucker, Marissa, Mikea, Stephen, Annie, and Taylor, is gearing up to make this anniversary the most memorable yet.
The Zip Trip series is a weekly Friday event that highlights the best spots to visit around the D.C. region. Each week, the Fox 5 crew broadcasts live from different locations, showcasing local businesses and community features. This year’s Southern Maryland (SoMD) stops are as follows:
- June 28: North Beach, MD | Pavilion/Boardwalk/Bay Ave near the Visitors Center, 9023 Bay Ave, North Beach, MD 20714

The 10th anniversary celebration will feature a brand-new Fox Local special, highlighting top moments and segments from the past decade of Zip Trips. The special will capture the spirit and excitement that have made Zip Trips a beloved tradition for over ten years.
Fox 5’s on-air personalities and crew will share their favorite memories, including a Jr. Reporter push-up competition and an on-air marriage proposal from a viewer. These moments illustrate the community engagement and fun that have characterized the Zip Trips.
