Southern Maryland recently experienced an uplifting musical event with Hope in Harmony’s inaugural choir concert series, titled “A Journey of Hope.” This series captivated audiences with memorable and immersive experiences, showcasing the talent and dedication of the “Hope in Harmony” choir.

Free Concerts Engaged the Public

The concert series, which was free to the public, delivered an inspiring program across three counties. The performances took place as follows:

  • Friday, June 7, at 7 p.m. ET at Calvert High School in Calvert County (520 Fox Run Blvd, Prince Frederick, MD 20678)
  • Saturday, June 8, at 7 p.m. ET at South Potomac Church in Charles County (4915 Crain Hwy, White Plains, MD 20695)
  • Sunday, June 9, at 3 p.m. ET at Leonardtown High School in St. Mary’s County (23995 Point Lookout Rd, Leonardtown, MD 20650)

Artistic Director TC O’Brien expressed her enthusiasm about the concert series, highlighting the choir’s commitment to the craft of choral music and community engagement. “I am delighted to bring this series of concerts to our community, featuring our talented singers who are deeply committed to the craft of choral music and to uplifting our community through exhilarating performances. At Hope in Harmony, we embrace our role as advocates for the musical arts, enriching lives through mentorship and community outreach. We believe that through music, we can inspire individuals to articulate their feelings and discover their unique voices,” O’Brien stated.
