Authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on Chapel Point Road on June 25. The incident, which involved a single vehicle, resulted in the death of 24-year-old Nicolas Conrad Slough of Bel Alton.

At approximately 4:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to the scene near the intersection of Chapel Point Road and Purcell Road. A preliminary investigation by the Traffic Operations Unit revealed that Slough, riding a 2007 Honda CBR600 motorcycle, veered off the roadway and collided with a tree.

Slough was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The circumstances leading to the crash remain under investigation, and authorities are seeking additional information from the public.
