LA PLATA, Md.—The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) proudly celebrates the accomplishments of its student-athletes who have been inducted into the P.A.S.S (Pursuing Academic and Social Success) Program 3.0 Club. This prestigious honor recognizes athletes who have excelled both academically and athletically, maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA while demonstrating leadership, sportsmanship, and dedication to their teams.

Celebrating Academic and Athletic Achievements

The P.A.S.S Program 3.0 Club reflects CSM’s commitment to fostering well-rounded student-athletes. Each recipient has showcased the ability to balance rigorous academic demands with the challenges of collegiate sports.

Women’s Soccer

  • Kylie Smith, Aniya Tucker, Sofia Larsen, and Zoi Whitsett have been key contributors to their team’s success, excelling both on the field and in the classroom.

Men’s Basketball

  • Malik Acker, Isiah Alexander, James Hans, and Nathan Monkoup Mefire have set a high standard for excellence, balancing their academic and athletic pursuits.

Baseball

  • The Baseball team boasts a strong contingent of achievers: Dylan Hannah, Henry Itani, Rylan Langley, Mason McReynolds, Yuni Pena, Waldy Reyes, and Davey Reynolds, each showcasing leadership on and off the diamond.

Softball

  • Emily Dove, Katelyn Tkach, Kitty Shrewsbury, Kyla Istvan, Laci Johnson, and Megan Chroniger have proven that commitment to academics is as important as their performance on the field.

Volleyball

  • Katy Swanson and Meghan Pullen have shown resilience and determination, achieving notable academic success while contributing to their team.

Men’s Soccer

  • Brandon Rollins, Zion Abdullah, Amit Bhattarai, Bailey Kindall, Bryce Wilcher, Joe Whitten, and Wiktor Blachowicz have exemplified excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
