LEONARDTOWN, MD – The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at a Charlotte Hall gun store late Friday night. Deputies responded to an alarm call at GLR Enterprise at approximately 11:53 p.m. on December 27, 2024, and discovered the store’s front window shattered.
Incident Overview
Upon arrival, deputies conducted a thorough search of the premises but found no suspects inside. Preliminary investigations indicate that an unknown individual or individuals broke into the store and stole several muzzle-loading rifles before fleeing the scene.
The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division (CID) has assumed control of the case. Detective Keith Moritz is leading the investigation.
