LEONARDTOWN, Md. — Fans of Paul McCartney and The Beatles are in for a treat this February as The McCartney Experience makes its Southern Maryland debut at The Rex. The tribute show, led by Croom, Maryland native Jed Duvall, will take the stage on February 8, 2025, promising an unforgettable evening of classic hits spanning McCartney’s legendary career.

Duvall, hailed as one of the world’s finest Paul McCartney tribute performers, brings an uncanny authenticity to the role. Not only does he resemble the iconic musician, but he also mirrors McCartney’s left-handed playing style, having taught himself to play left-handed despite being a natural right-hander. The dedication extends to his band, which meticulously rehearses to capture the essence of McCartney’s sound.

This attention to detail has earned the band glowing praise from critics and fans alike. ABC Madrid called Duvall “the best Paul McCartney impersonator in the world” following a sold-out performance in Spain earlier this month. Speaking about his upcoming show at The Rex, Duvall shared his excitement:
“After playing halfway around the world, we are looking forward to performing for our hometown audience in our first show in Southern Maryland!”

An Evening of Hits

The McCartney Experience offers a deep dive into the music of one of rock’s most iconic figures, spanning McCartney’s time with The Beatles, his years with Wings, and his prolific solo career. Fans can expect to hear classics like “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “I Saw Her Standing There,” and “And I Love Her,” alongside Wings favorites such as “Silly Love Songs” and “Listen to What the Man Said.”

The setlist also includes solo hits like “Dance Tonight” and the rarely performed “No More Lonely Nights” from the Give My Regards to Broad Street film soundtrack, a song McCartney himself has never played live.

“Paul’s music has always been a part of my life,” Duvall said. “His songs take me through specific moments in time, from childhood to now. Playing his music feels like I’m sharing a part of my own story with the audience.”

A Unique Tribute Experience

Unlike large-scale tribute acts, The McCartney Experience offers a more intimate performance, designed to feel personal and authentic. Duvall aims to give fans a concert experience that connects them to McCartney’s music in a unique way.

“Like many, I’ve gone to McCartney concerts and seen a tiny figure on a stage so far away it’s easier to watch the video feed,” Duvall explained. “I try to give the audience the feeling that they’re actually watching him perform live. This isn’t a flashy salute to McCartney or a Beatles tribute band—it’s about experiencing Paul’s music on a personal level.”

About Jed Duvall and The McCartney Experience

Duvall, a lifelong McCartney fan, has been featured in Baltimore Magazine for his dedication to recreating the magic of McCartney’s performances. His band, composed of seasoned musicians, works tirelessly to capture the spirit of each song, combining precision with passion.

The McCartney Experience has earned high praise for its authenticity and entertainment value. As Asbury Park Vibes described, “Jed and his band were spot on—his voice and manner were remarkably close to the real deal.”
