BRYANS ROAD, MD—Charles County Sheriff’s detectives are searching for Cliffton Eugene Greenfield, 50, of Bryans Road, who is wanted on charges of first-degree assault. Greenfield is accused of stabbing a relative in the head and neck on January 10 following an argument reportedly over the use of a television remote control.

The victim was transported to a hospital by another family member and treated for severe injuries. Greenfield fled the scene before police arrived, prompting authorities to issue an arrest warrant. Detectives have been actively searching for him but have yet to locate the suspect.

Greenfield is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 220 pounds, and missing his left arm. Law enforcement officials are appealing to the public for assistance in locating him.
