Smith’s javelin record builds on past successes, like Chay’La Rivers’ 2023 marks in the 200-meter dash and triple jump, noted by the Southern Maryland Chronicle.
Coach Erin Howansky’s squad showed depth, with 11 athletes posting personal bests. The team next hosts the Seahawk Invitational on March 29 in St. Mary’s City, aiming to build on this momentum against regional foes.
