SOLOMONS, Md. — Country music fans in Southern Maryland have a major event to mark on their calendars: Brantley Gilbert, with special guest Jackson Dean, will perform at the Calvert Marine Museum’s Waterside Music Series on Thursday, June 19, 2025. The concert, part of Gilbert’s The Tattoos Tour, will take place at the Motto Mortgage Preferred and RE/MAX One Waterside Pavilion, offering a night of live music against a scenic waterfront backdrop.
Gilbert, a multi-Platinum artist known for blending country, rock, and rap, brings a catalog of seven No. 1 hits, including “Bottoms Up,” “Country Must Be Country Wide,” and “One Hell of an Amen.” With over 8.3 billion career streams and songwriting credits on tracks like Jason Aldean’s “Dirt Road Anthem,” Gilbert has carved a unique space in the genre. His latest album, Tattoos, released in 2024, mixes high-energy anthems with introspective ballads, showcasing his evolution as a performer.

Opening the show is Jackson Dean, a Maryland-born singer-songwriter who has quickly risen in the country music scene. His debut single, “Don’t Come Lookin’,” earned Platinum status and hit No. 1 in 2022, marking him as the youngest solo male country artist to top the charts with a debut release, according to Billboard. His sophomore album, On The Back Of My Dreams, features the current radio climber “Heavens to Betsy,” highlighting his distinctive voice and storytelling ability.
Tickets for the event range from $60 to $100, with all-in pricing. Calvert Marine Museum (CMM) members can purchase tickets starting March 25, 2025, at noon EST, while public sales begin March 28 at 10 a.m. EST. To access the presale, fans must join CMM by 11:30 a.m. EST on March 25. Membership details are available by calling 410-326-2042, ext. 8063 or 8067. Tickets are sold exclusively through Etix.com, the official ticketing partner, and the museum advises against buying from third-party resale sites due to authenticity concerns.

Bonnie Barrett, CMM’s Director of Development, expressed enthusiasm for the lineup. “The Waterside Music Series continues to bring top-tier talent to Southern Maryland, and we are excited to welcome Brantley Gilbert and Jackson Dean to our stage,” she said. “With Brantley bringing his Tattoos Tour and Jackson returning to his home state, this show promises to be an unforgettable experience for country music fans of all ages.”
The Waterside Music Series has become a staple in the region, drawing crowds to Solomons for performances that blend entertainment with community support. Proceeds from the June 19 concert will fund CMM’s education and preservation initiatives, including exhibits on maritime history and the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem. The event is backed by sponsors such as Motto Mortgage Preferred, RE/MAX One, Prince Frederick Ford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, and others, reflecting strong local business involvement.
Gilbert’s tour follows a busy 2024, with performances across the U.S., while Dean’s homecoming adds a personal touch to the night. Fans can expect a high-energy set from Gilbert, paired with Dean’s raw, soulful opening act, making this a standout event in the 2025 concert season.
