WALDORF, Md. — Charles County Sheriff’s Office patrol officers arrested four juveniles on April 13, 2025, following a reported assault and strong-armed robbery in Waldorf. The incident, which occurred around 5 p.m. near 3515 Promenade Place, involved a large fight among juveniles, leaving one victim with a broken nose and stolen shoes. Authorities are continuing their investigation to identify additional suspects.

Officers responded promptly to the scene, where they found the injured juvenile victim. The victim reported being attacked by multiple individuals who then took his shoes. Acting on descriptions provided, officers located four suspects, aged 13 to 17, fleeing into a nearby neighborhood. All four were positively identified as participants in the assault and robbery. “Officers acted swiftly and located four juvenile suspects fleeing into a nearby neighborhood,” the Charles County Sheriff’s Office stated in a release.

Investigators determined that other suspects escaped in a stolen vehicle, complicating efforts to apprehend all involved. The four apprehended juveniles were charged on a juvenile offense report and released to their guardians, as required by Maryland law. The case remains active, with authorities seeking the remaining suspects.
