SOLOMONS, Md. — Country music star Jordan Davis headlined an electrifying concert at the Calvert Marine Museum’s Motto Mortgage Preferred and RE/MAX One Waterside Pavilion on May 24, 2025, with rising artist Dasha opening the show. The 7 p.m. event, kicking off the 2025 Waterside Music Series, drew thousands to the waterfront venue, where fans enjoyed a night of chart-topping hits under the stars.
Davis, riding the success of his sophomore album Bluebird Days, captivated the crowd with performances of his 4X Platinum single “Buy Dirt” and 3X Platinum “Next Thing You Know.” The multi-platinum artist, known for appearances on Good Morning America and The Tonight Show, also debuted his latest single, “I Ain’t Sayin’,” from his upcoming album. His set blended heartfelt ballads with upbeat anthems, resonating with the diverse audience sprawled across the venue’s lawn and premium seating areas.

Dasha, the 24-year-old singer-songwriter from San Luis Obispo, California, set the tone with her viral hit “Austin,” which had fans line-dancing in the aisles. Her blend of country storytelling and pop melodies energized the crowd, many of whom sang along to the platinum-certified single.

The Waterside Music Series, held at the Calvert Marine Museum since 1985, remains Southern Maryland’s premier outdoor music venue, with a capacity of 7,000. The May 24 concert featured a food court with American, BBQ, and seafood vendors, alongside beverage stands offering soda, beer, wine, and water.
The open-air pavilion, set against the Chesapeake Bay, provided a picturesque backdrop as attendees enjoyed a rain-free evening. The concert’s proceeds bolstered the museum’s mission to preserve local history and maritime heritage, contributing nearly 40% of its annual budget. Past performers, including Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, and The Beach Boys, have cemented the series’ reputation, and the May 24 show continued that legacy with two artists at different stages of their careers.
