BUDDS CREEK, Md. — Potomac Speedway hosted an action-packed racing event on May 25, 2025, featuring Super Late Model, Street Stocks, UCAR, DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, and Vintage Full Body Stock Cars, alongside family-friendly attractions like the Marilyn Monroe Band, Juicebox races, and a moon bounce. The evening, held at the 3/8-mile clay oval, drew thousands of fans to St. Mary’s County for a night of high-speed competition and community entertainment.

In the Super Late Model A Feature (35 laps), Wil Herrington clinched victory, starting third and outpacing Derick Quade, who finished second after leading early. Kenny Moreland took third, followed by Joey Love and Trever Feathers. The race saw intense battles, with 10 drivers failing to finish due to mechanical issues or collisions. Herrington’s win capped a competitive night, with qualifying led by Quade’s 15.527-second lap. In Street Stocks (15 laps), Mason Hanson surged from fourth to claim the win, edging out Ricky Edmonds and Wyatt Hanson. The UCAR division saw Allen Griffith dominate, leading all 15 laps to beat Richard Inscoe and Keith Brown. Austin Holcombe won the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds (30 laps), holding off Russell Erwin, while JT Bowie led the Vintage Full Body Stock Cars to victory.
