WALDORF, Md. — honeygrow, the Philadelphia-based fast-casual chain known for customizable stir-fry, salads and honeybar desserts, will open its newest Maryland location Friday, April 24, 2026, at 12474 Mattawoman Drive in Waldorf Station.
The opening marks honeygrow’s 77th restaurant nationwide and its 14th in Maryland. The Waldorf site joins existing locations in Annapolis, Baltimore, Bethesda, Columbia, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Hunt Valley, Rockville, Silver Spring and Towson, expanding the brand’s footprint in the state.
The restaurant will operate daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Guests can expect made-to-order options including the signature Spicy Garlic Stir-Fry, OG Cobb salad and Cheesecake Honeybar. honeygrow emphasizes fresh, high-quality ingredients and nutrition-forward choices suitable for quick lunches, family dinners or after-school treats.
“As honeygrow continues to expand across Maryland, we’re proud to open in Waldorf,” said Todd Miller, senior vice president of marketing at honeygrow. “We’re excited to introduce our bold flavors to the community and become a go-to stop for friends and families.”
Waldorf Station, a mixed-use development in northern Charles County, continues to attract new retail and dining concepts as the area grows. The development sits near major routes serving residents of Charles, St. Mary’s and Calvert counties, positioning honeygrow to draw from a broad Southern Maryland customer base.
Charles County’s population exceeds 170,000 and continues expanding, with Waldorf serving as a commercial hub featuring shopping, entertainment and dining options. The addition of honeygrow aligns with demand for convenient, customizable meals amid busy lifestyles tied to defense jobs at Joint Base Andrews, commuting to the Washington region and local family activities.
honeygrow was founded in 2012 with a mission to bring people together through wholesome, flavorful food. The company operates more than 75 locations across Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Ohio. Each location focuses on cooked-to-order dishes using fresh ingredients without compromising speed or quality.
The Waldorf opening provides another dining choice in a county where residents frequently seek variety beyond traditional fast food. honeygrow’s menu supports various dietary preferences with vegetarian, gluten-conscious and protein-packed options, appealing to families, professionals and students from nearby schools.
Southern Maryland’s economy benefits from new restaurant openings that create jobs and enhance local amenities. honeygrow’s arrival follows other recent additions to Waldorf Station and reflects ongoing investment in the commercial corridor along Mattawoman Drive and surrounding areas.
Residents can visit the new location starting Friday for dine-in, takeout or catering services. The chain also offers online ordering through its website and mobile app for added convenience.
honeygrow joins a growing list of national and regional brands choosing Waldorf for expansion due to its strategic location, population growth and strong community support. The restaurant is expected to become a regular stop for quick, fresh meals in the heart of Southern Maryland.
