Eagle Title has announced that Wendy Gotte has joined the company as a Settlement Officer in its Southern Maryland office located in Prince Frederick.
A licensed Title Settlement Agent and Notary Public, Gotte brings more than 24 years of real estate and settlement experience to the firm. She will work alongside Settlement Officer Zanna Clayton to support the continued growth of Eagle Title’s operations in Calvert County and the surrounding tri-county region.
Originally from California, Gotte spent 18 years working as an Escrow Officer, managing residential real estate transactions and guiding clients through the closing process. She later expanded her expertise in South Carolina, where she gained additional loan processing experience during the implementation of the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) regulations.
Since relocating to Southern Maryland in 2021, Gotte has developed a strong reputation for organization, attention to detail and her ability to keep transactions moving efficiently from contract through closing. She now resides in St. Mary’s County with her family and two dogs.
“Wendy’s experience and professionalism make her an outstanding addition to our Southern Maryland team,” said Brad Walsh, President of Eagle Title. “Her commitment to providing a smooth, positive experience for every client aligns perfectly with Eagle Title’s values and the level of service we strive to deliver.”
In her new role, Gotte will help lead residential settlement transactions in Southern Maryland, with a focus on creating a seamless and responsive closing experience for clients, lenders, real estate agents and business partners throughout the region.
“Joining Eagle Title is an exciting opportunity,” said Gotte. “I look forward to working with the Prince Frederick team and serving clients throughout Southern Maryland.”
Prince Frederick serves as the county seat of Calvert County and sits at the heart of a growing real estate market in Southern Maryland. The area continues to attract homebuyers drawn to waterfront living, proximity to Naval Air Station Patuxent River and convenient access to the Washington, D.C. metro region. Eagle Title’s expanded presence in the county reflects the steady demand for reliable, local title and settlement services as families and businesses move into Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties.
Gotte’s background in both escrow and loan processing positions her well to help clients navigate today’s complex real estate closings. Her experience during the nationwide rollout of TRID regulations gives her a deep understanding of the regulatory requirements that protect buyers and sellers.
Outside of work, Gotte performs in a band with her husband, where she plays keyboard and sings lead vocals. Her community-oriented approach to both music and real estate reflects the same dedication to service that has defined her career.
Eagle Title continues to expand its footprint in Southern Maryland to meet the needs of a growing population. The addition of Gotte strengthens the company’s ability to deliver personalized, efficient service to clients across the region.
